Zada . . .

Case Study submitted by Jon Geller, DVM

Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency and Rehabilitation Center - Fort Collins, CO

Zada is a 5 yr old Domestic Short Hair who sustained unknown trauma on her right forearm. The wound appeared to be necrotic, and was treated initially with debridement and flushing, followed by serial bandage changes with honey dressings.

Zada then received 20 HBOT treatments over 2 months, and the wound greatly improved in appearance and healed by second intention.
